The font on all of our pages was set at Arial 12, however, they are all different. This had become very tedius and we cannot figure out how to fix it.

Hey, I found some information on this glacier that might be useful, if you haven't already used this journal -- Journal of Glaciology 47 (159) (2001) Thermally Controlled Glacier Surging. If you can't access it, I saved a copy. Just let me know.

Hello. Yes, we decided to organize the glaciers in terms of where they are located in the Yukon (transboundary Alaska-Yukon, transboundary BC-Yukon, and those that are entirely in the Yukon). All we need to do now is to actually organize them that way! Soon...

I would maybe take out the "Glaciers and Ice caps present on Axel-Heiberg Island" and just directly list your areas.

Hey would it be easier to arrage these glaciers into areas to give readers a better "immediate" idea of where you are talking about?

Hey guys you likely won't find info for glaciers in ALL of these regions, you should leave the ones which hav eno glaciers out. Maybe mark them in red on the map.

If anyone is interested in using a graphic organizer to prepare a site map for your section or to organize your data collection or any of your group processes, there is a software available (called "Inspiration"). A description and links have been added under section 1) Instructions for Geo 4G03 students.

Here is a good link from the Government of BC. Type in the name of your glacier and it will locate it and you can search a 5km proximity around your glacier, thereby returning even more glaciers. Keep doing that and you can find almost every glacier that has an official name!! It gives Lat. and Long. info along with a general location, what the glacier feeds and sometimes name adoption information/history. Check it out, its a really neat tool!!

The above photo's show Muir Glacier, located on the B.C. Alaska Border, at the same location, north, looking from a shoreline location near Muir Point in Muir Inlet, 104 years apart (top photo-1899 and bottom photo-2003). The glacier can be seen in the far right hand side of the 2003 photo. These and other glacier comparison photo's can be found at:
