General Characteristics
Bennington Glacier is a fairly large alpine glacier, that is about 5km in length. It contains moraines from the Little Ice Age from which it has retreated 1300m (Ommanney, 2002). The glacier descends 1600m in elevation from the west face of Mount Fraser.
